Nappa Tappa, born Milton McKenzie in Clarendon, Jamaica, discovered his love for music during his time in the choir at the Pentecostal Church of God. It was there that his passion for music first blossomed, laying the foundation for his journey as an artist.
His moniker, Nappa Tappa, was given to him by reggae artist Merciless and symbolizes his commitment to being an "Up Top" artist—a true representative of excellence and authenticity. With lyrics deeply rooted in culture, Nappa Tappa proudly embodies the Rastafarian way of life. His music reflects his personal experiences, resilience, and a commitment to spreading messages of upliftment and universal love to audiences worldwide.
What sets Nappa Tappa apart is his approach to music creation. He relies on energy and inspiration rather than trends, crafting music that is both unique and timeless.
